Today the team attended Darwen Gala which in relation to previous years was a dry, sunny day! This helped to draw the crowds to the event situated close to Darwen town centre.

This year marked the 43rd Darwen Gala. The gala is organised by the Darwen Gala Voluntary Committee who also raise money for local charities. The team have supported this event for many years, and were pleased to accept a cheque for £50 from the committee.

Six full team callout members attended, along with two members of our support group, Johanne Lamb and Iain Clarkson, with two of the Team LandRover ambulances.

The gathered crowds were entertained by events as varied as a BMX stunt display to an urban dance troop to a magic show. The team also attracted interest in the team vehicles and collected £12.05 from well-wishers.
