Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

15th October 2008

This evening the preparation for the weekends foundation course continued in earnest, with a number of team members avoiding getting wet (ahem) on the teams regular Wednesday night training, which tonight took place in the vicinity of Winter Hill with the teams trainee search dog, Tess. The members remaining at base carried out tasks printing and collating the course booklets, gathering medical and technical items required for the planned exercises and the important job of keeping the IT geeks supplied with tea.

In total 29 delegates are taking the course this weekend including, not just the recent recruits from Boltons recent recruitment drives, but also colleagues from NEWSAR, RMPRT and Cheshire SAR.

Thanks goes out to all helpers, especially to colleagues from Cheshire SAR, Joanne & Dave McClure and (father of ex-team call-out list member and current support group member Dr Becky Roberts) Geoff Roberts (who came at 7pm and stayed well beyond midnight).

A special thanks goes out to P & M Printing of Warrington for printing the course notes and for the support it gives to the team towards this event.
