Today we received an email of thanks from the mountain biker injured on Saturday 18th October 2008 in the Rivington area. (our Incident 105 – 2008, see separate news entry)
“Hello, I’m writing just to thank everyone involved in my rescue from Rivington this Saturday. The Mountain Rescue Team responded very quickly and cared for me superbly. Unfortunately due to the amount of pain (and morphine) I was under I can’t remember peoples names to personally thank! I had an operation that night on my left femur which went well. Please could you pass on my sincere thanks to those who were involved.”
