Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

22nd October 2008

Whilst the ’Mountain Rescue Hummer’ isn’t travelling around the team area, it is parked up in the secure environment at our base on the site of North West Ambulance Service Headquarters at Ladybridge Hall, Bolton.

Whilst the ’Hummer’ has been parked in the grounds it has attracted the attention of the security, office and ambulance staff who visit and are based at Ladybridge Hall, with many staff taking photos of the hummer.

So our Deputy Team Leader brought the Hummer to Ladybridge Hall, together with the keys to allow the staff to have a proper look around the vehicle, and to explain the involvement of General Motors in loaning the Hummer in this the 75th anniversary year of mountain rescue.

Pictured with the vehicle are Maureen, Simon, Chris and Rochelle, together with our Deputy Team Leader Geoff Seddon.
