Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

29th October 2008

Today team member Andrew Livesey visited Police Stations on the Bury Division of Greater Manchester Police. He was kindly invited to meet with PCSOs and Police Officers at Whitefield Police Station to talk about Bolton Mountain Rescue Team and the activities of the team in the Manchester area.

Following a talk with the policing team we were also able to show the new Hummer that is currently in circulation in the team.

We extended to the police an invitation to visit the team at any time to further find out what we do and look at our equipment and vehicle resources.

We would like to say thank you to all the officers who attended and gave feedback on the visit.

Later the same day Andrew visited Radcliffe Police Station to talk to Inspector Williams regarding the team and discuss experiences he has had involving the team on such incidents as the search for Joe Geeling in Bury. Andrew would like to pass on his personal thanks to Inspector Williams for his time to talk to him.
