This afternoon, commencing at 12 noon, team callout list member Elaine Gilliland attended on the team’s behalf, the Bolton Ladies’ Fundraising Group, 13th Ladies’ Spring Luncheon, held at the Rivington Hall Barn, Rivington.
This annual event has been held since 1996 in support of many charitable causes and to date has resulted in the raising of wonderful grand total of over £150,000 to numerous local charities.
This year’s event was kindly held in support of Bolton Gateway Club, and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, and had as its guest of honour and guest speaker, Chief Superintendant Lillian King of Greater Manchester Police.
During the luncheon there was a fashion show, with clothes modelled by Whitakers of Bolton.

The team would like to extend its sincere thanks to all members of the Bolton Ladies’ Fundraising Group for their incredibly kind and thoughful support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
On a personal note, Elaine Gilliland would like to thank all present who openly welcomed her as a special guest to this fantastic event.
