Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

17th February 2010

Karen Hope is a student at Bolton University studying for her MA in International Photo Journalism, Documentary and Travel Photography.

As part of her MA studies she is working on a photographic project entitled ’Nightworkers,’ featuring as the title suggests, all those who may have reason to work at night, with the focus of her study being the Bolton area.
She has already covered or arranged to cover such diverse occupations as Fire, Police and Ambulance staff, Security Guards, Foundry workers, Taxi Drivers and Casino staff, and as we often work on night time searches and rescues, alongside training every Wednesday evening we seemed an ideal organization to feature in her project.

Karen this evening joined long serving and experienced team call out list Louise Jorgensen on this evenings exercise in the Wilders Wood / Wilders Moor area above Horwich, in suitably wintry conditions, to carry out a photo shoot featuring Louise in her ’Nightworker’ role as a member of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

The whole team wishes Karen Hope all best wishes with her MA studies and awaits a view of her completed project.
