This evening Team Eagley Bank Fundraisers launched their first charity event of their fundraising year, in aid this year of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Their event took the form of a charity quiz evening, hosted at the house of Maureen Heggie of Eagley Bank, Bolton.

Attending to represent the team were our Chairman Ken Oakes, joined by two very experienced Call Out list members Gill Leigh and Chris Tennant. (Who all arrived together in one of our Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances).

After giving a presentation on the role and work of the team to the many assembled members of Team Eagley Bank Fundraisers, Ken, Gill and Chris all stayed to take part in the quiz, with Ken being in the ’One man and his Harem!’ team and Chris being in team ’Four plus one.’

Our three team members also enjoyed the evening meal put on for all the ’Fundraisers,’ with Chris commenting on the “Excellence of the meat and potato pie and trifle.”

At the conclusion of our members visit to the home of Maureen Heggie, they were very pleasantly surprised to receive a kind £75.00 donation to the team to launch Team Eagley Bank Fundraisers support for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.

Ken, Gill and Chris would like to pass on their thanks to Maureen Heggie and all at Team Eagley Bank Fundraisers for an enjoyable evening in excellent company.
