Tonight our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received the fantastic news from Carolyn Booth, Horwich Carnival Secretary, that the team has been selected as the sole charity beneficiary for the 2010 Horwich Carnival.
This year the Horwich Carnival is being held on Sunday 4th July 2010, separate from the Horwich Carnival Races, both are normally held together, which are in turn being held on Sunday 20th June 2010.
In the past the Horwich Carnival has supported 1471 (Horwich) Squadron, Air Cadets and Derian House amongst other charities.
In an email from Carolyn to our Team Leader Garry, Carolyn explained; “We (The Horwich Carnival organisers) feel proud and grateful that Bolton has such a committed and dedicated organisation and volunteers as yourselves, and would like to recognise this in some way by raising some money fro you and getting some publicity for you.”
The entire team membership would like to thank all associated with the 2010 Horwich Carnival for very kindly agreeing to support us in this much appreciated way.
