Letter of thanks from North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust
Today our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE received a very kind letter from Darren Hurrell, Chief Executive of the North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust.
In his letter to Garry and the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team membership titled “Mountain Rescue work over the recent period of bad weather”, Darren stated;
“I would like to offer my thanks for all your efforts during the recent period of bad weather.
The team work and partnership approach displayed between yourselves and the North West Ambulance Service staff, both Operational and Control has been outstanding which will have made a tremendous difference to patients.
I know that that the levels of activity created significant demands on your resources and I hope that you have had a chance to recover.
I look forward to building upon our working arrangements especially after the recent experience and once again wish to offer my thanks and the thanks from all at the North West Ambulance Service.”
The Bolton Mountain Rescue Team places a very high value on its special relationship with the North West Ambulance Service (Both Greater Manchester and Lancashire) including the Emergency road crews and the Control room staff, many of whom are on first name terms with our Team Leader and Deputy Team Leader. (And vice-versa)
This kind letter exemplifies this strong joint working relationship, which the Bolton MRT continues to develop
