Very kind card of thanks and donation from Mrs Kathie Beales, regarding her rescue of Saturday 14th August 2010
Today we are pleased to announce the receipt of a very kind card of thanks and donation from the casualty involved in Incident 73-2010, Saturday 14th August in Redisher Woods, Hawkshaw, Bury, Mrs Kathie (Kathleen) Beales of Greenmount, Bury.
In her card of thanks Kathie kindly comments; “I am writing to thank all those members of Bolton MRT who turned out to help me at Simons Lodge in Redisher Woods. I sustained a serious lower leg fracture and due to complications was in Fairfield Hospital for ten days before they could operate.
My husband and I are so grateful for the kindness, the skill and the warmth of the members who came to my rescue. My husband made an on line donation to Bolton MRT (Webmaster; see related article today) but I am enclosing a cheque donation of £50.00 as I would like all those who helped me to have a drink on me as a small token of appreciation. yours sincerely Kathie Beales.”
The whole team membership is grateful to Mrs Kathie Beales and her husband for so thoughtfully thinking of us in this kind way, and for supporting the Bolton MRT. We all wish Kathie a speedy recovery back to full health and once more getting out on local walks in her home area.
