Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

26th December 2010

This morning, with team members present at our Base / HQ ready to go out in to the teams area for our traditionally Boxing Day jaunt, we were visited by former long serving team member Mike Thomason and his young family.

Mike with his wife Sue, was ’up north’ visiting his parents in Swinton, when he took the opportunity to call in and see us. (Mike is a Chaplain with the British Army)

Mike and Sues two young children, Alexander and Eve of course had the run of our Base / HQ, and following in the footsteps of their dad, who was nicknamed ’Buttons’ when in the team, proceeded to try every button and switch in the Land Rovers they gleefully sat in.

It was soon time for Mike and his family to depart, with Christmas and New Year wishes all around.
