Very thoughtful and kind donations in the memory of the late Charles Gordon Gregory, of Brinsop Hall Farm, Westhoughton
On Friday 24th September 2010, the team was called out, alongside other resources, to search for a missing 83 year old farmer at Brinsop Hall Farm, Westhoughton.
Very sadly during the search the body of the farmer Charles Gordon Gregory was located by Bolton Mountain Rescue Team members.
Charles Gordon Gregory, known to most as Gordon, was buried on 11th October 2010 at Westhoughton Cemetery following a service at St. John’s Church, Wingates, Westhoughton.
It was requested that flowers only be from family members, with donations if desired to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Today we received a number of very thoughtful donations all in the memory of the late Charles Gordon Gregory, totaling a very kind £542.00.
The condolences of the team are extended yet again to the family, friends, neighbours and colleagues of the late Charles Gordon Gregory, with our sincere thanks to all who made very kind donations to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team in his ever lasting memory.
Particular condolences are extended to Mr Charles Heeley of Brinsop Hall Farm, the nephew of the late Charles Gordon Gregory.
