Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th February 2011

We are now well into our intensive training for our Mountain Rescue Casualty Care Course (see previous recent news entries) with this evenings comprehensive session dealing with primary and secondary casualty surveys, head injuries, use of cervical collars, head blocks and long boards.

This evening our ’usual’ in house instructors and lecturers were joined by Donna Peel, sister of Trainee team member Paul Chisholm. Donna is a 2nd year Student Paramedic with NWAS Cheshire and Merseyside, currently studying at Liverpool John Moores University, and she very kindly gave up her time tonight to come along and assist with the provision of our training.
