Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

10th May 2011

On the Wednesday evening of 16th June 2004, we were contacted by Greater Manchester Ambulance Service (As was, now NWAS Greater Manchester Area) to respond from our weekly training session to the report of an injured mountain biker on the slopes of Winter Hill.

We ended up rescuing a 35 years old male mountain biker who had suffered a very painful fracture dislocation of his left shoulder.

Today we received a very kind £50.00 donation from Chris, the mountain biker involved, with a short note attached stating; “Many thanks I was Incident 45/2004, (MTB, Winter Hill) Still can’t thank you enough, keep up the good work.”

The whole team extends it’s thanks to Chris for this thoughtful and kind donation.
