Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th July 2011

Today we are pleased to announce the receipt of a kind £30.00 donation from Mrs Dale Birtwistle, of Harwood, Bolton, the casualty involved in Incident 21 of this year, when she unfortunately injured her knee falling whilst out walking with her dog.

In two recent emails to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, Dale recounted, “On Saturday 26th March 2011, volunteers from the Bolton MRT assisted to my knee injury. Please can you pass on my belated thanks to them as they arrived within minutes of the Ambulance contacting them, and each volunteer was polite and professional, doing their utmost to distract me from the pain in my knee.”
“Without you all I daren’t think how long I would have been stranded in the field for.”

All the team membership wishes Dale a continuing full recovery from her knee injury, and sends thanks for her kind donation.
