This evening the Team welcomed 2 friends and colleagues from the British Red Cross, Kevin Place, Regional Service Manager Emergency Response & Emma Gedzielewski, Greater Manchester Fire and Emergency Support Service (FESS) Co-Ordinator.

Emma and Kevin, following on from earlier visits met with Team Training Officer, Elaine Gilliland, to provide updated information about service structure and regional functions.

Discussions were also had about future joint exercises involving Greater Manchester and Lancashire FESS volunteers and review of the MOU signed in September 2010.

Bolton Mountain Rescue Team are delighted to have such a close working and training relationship with British Red Cross, and look forward to enhancing it further.
