Today we are very pleased to announce the wonderful receipt of a £150.00 donation from Mr David Roberts of Bolton.

In a letter to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, from Mr Roberts, accompanying this very kind donation, Mr Roberts explained;

“Please find enclosed a donation of £150.00 as a donation for the Bolton MRT. I completed the Manchester 10km and as a member of Bolton CHA Ramblers, I decided your team should receive my sponsor money.”

In total twenty very kind people sponsored Mr David Roberts on his 10km recent run, and with thanks to the majority of his sponsors, they have given us permission to ‘Gift Aid’ their donations, so ultimately Mr David Roberts will have raised considerably more than the ‘original’ £150.00 once ‘Gift Aid’ is applied by the team.

The whole team membership extends its fullest thanks to Mr David Roberts for undertaking this sponsored event to raise funds for the team.
