Absolutely fantastic donation news from BT People Awards
We are very pleased to announce today the receipt of a wonderful £1,000.00 much appreciated donation from the BT People Awards Scheme thanks to the voluntary work of Team Call Out list member Paul Copley, a BT employee.
Run by BT, the BT People Awards Scheme rewards BT employees with funding where they volunteer their time for local community groups, charities and organisations.
Caroline Waters OBE, BT Director of People and Policy, in a letter dated 16th November 2012 to Team Call Out list member Paul Copley, a BT employee, stated; “I am delighted to inform you that your application for a BT People Award has been successful. In recognition of your voluntary commitment you have been awarded £1,000.00 for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. Congratulations on your award and on behalf of the volunteering team, please accept my most sincere thanks for your dedicated commitment to the community.”
Paul Copley was also very kindly issued with a Certificate stating; “BT People Awards 2012/13. This is to certify that Paul Copley has received a BT People Award on behalf of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team for their outstanding dedication and commitment to the community.” The Certificate is signed by Sir Michael Rake, Chairman, BT.
The team would like to thank Team Call Out list member Paul Copley for once again successfully applying for this award through his employee BT, and of course the BT People Awards Scheme for very kindly making this award to Paul with such a kind donation to the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
Please also see website ‘news’ reports, when this scheme was known as the ‘BT Community Champions Award,’ dated Tuesday 20th March 2012, outlining a £350.00 donation and Wednesday 16th March 2011, outlining a £110.00 donation, both also thanks to the voluntary work of team member Paul Copley.
