This evening, following an earlier telephone conversation with our Team Chairman Craig Lamb, and at the subsequent invitation of Craig, we welcomed to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ Gary Cresswell of CressCromp Couriers, Same Day Deliveries, Stable Fold Farm, Egerton, Bolton.
Gary arrived at 19.00hrs and was welcomed by our Team Chairman Craig Lamb.
Gary explained that he was interested in supporting Bolton MRT on a regular basis, alongside other charitable causes he supports and is interested in supporting.
Craig gave Gary a full tour of our Base / HQ, including a look over our two based Land Rover Mountain Rescue Land Rover Ambulance vehicles.
Craig also outlined to Gary some of the areas that the Bolton MRT were looking for support with.
Our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE, also met briefly with Gary (As he was also meeting with four NEWSAR members at the time, see news report) and following Craig’s introduction to the team, Gary stated he was still interested in helping us and a further meeting is to be arranged between Gary and our Team Leader to further discuss such.
