We are very pleased to announce our December month end 2012 collection box figures, with £65.50p collected, against £1,144.94p for December 2011.
Our end of year 2012 collection box income figure is a marvellous £3,262.74p, against £5,205.07p for 2011.
We currently have 127x collection boxes out and about in the teams operational area and with a small number of individual supporters. The number of boxes we have out and about has unfortunately continued steadily dropping over the last twelve months, perhaps a sign of these hardened financial times, but thankfully new sites keep cropping up to balance out some of our now lost sites.
As ever we offer our sincere thanks to all who so kindly host a box and of course to the large number of supporters who contribute to so regularly filling up all our boxes out and about.
We are always looking to all our supporters out and about to help us steadily increase the number of collection boxes we have in circulation.
If you feel you can kindly help us in this way please contact us via the addresses given within the ‘contacts’ section of our website.
All our boxes are regularly emptied with all sites thanked and acknowledged each time a box is emptied.
Additionally at each year end, all sites who have generated over £50.00 but under £100.00 receive a laminated Certificate of Thanks (This year we issued these to nine of our 2012 sites)
Those sites who have raised over £100.00 in the year receive a Team Plaque when reached for the first time, and then in subsequent years a Framed Certificate of Thanks.
For 2012, we have issued plaques for the Decathlon Store in Bolton and Bromley cross News and Mini Market.
Framed Certificates for 2012 have been issued to Belmont Stores and Post Office, Gordons (Bolton) Limited – Horwich Service Station, The Holcombe Duo – Neil and Helen Grundy, Jumbles Cafe and Information Centre, Vaughn’s Cafe and Information Centre at Roddlesworth, and the Village Tea Rooms at Rivington.
