Fantastic donation from Christ Church Harwood PCC
On 2nd August 2011 the team visited the Kings Club, Christ Church, Harwood, at Top O’th Brow School, to explain a little about our work as a Mountain Rescue Team at the Kings Club. The Kings Club is a week of activities for primary aged children organised and staffed by the parishioners of Christ Church, Harwood who give up their time to provide this opportunity for local children.
Today we are very pleased to report upon the receipt of a fantastic £100.00 donation from Christ Church Harwood PCC.
In a letter to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE from Mike McGarry, Deputy Church Warden at Christ Church Harwood, Mike stated;
All the team membership wish to extend their grateful thanks to all at Christ Church Harwood PCC for supporting us in this very kind, appreciated and thoughtful manner.
Please also see website ‘News’ report dated 2nd August 2011.
