Team receives copies of “Casualty Care revision in Mountain Rescue,” 2nd Edition, published by Langdale Ambleside MRT
On Friday 1st February 2013, we reported within our website ‘News’ section on the receipt with thanks, from Langdale Ambleside MRT of a
complimentary pre publication copy of their excellent full colour booklet ‘Casualty Care revision in Mountain Rescue,’ 1st Edition, published November 2012.
Complimentary copies we understand were sent out to a number of MRTs for pre publication comment prior to printing.
This A5 sized booklet has been written by LAMRT member Andy Caple, with the aim of simplifying the accessibility of essential information for effective casualty care, and is in a very easily understood format, being ring (Wire) bound, and printed on hard wearing waterproof paper.
Our very experienced Team Call Out list member Mark Scott (Aided by equally experienced Team Call Out list member and full time Accident and Emergency Nurse Alistair Greenough) passed detailed comment back to Andy Caple of LAMRT as requested with regards to this 1st Edition.
Today we received our subsequent order of nine copies of this excellent publication, now published in its April 2013 2nd Edition format.
We are very grateful to Andy Caple of LAMRT for kindly enclosing an additional tenth (Complimentary) copy of this 2nd Edition for the attention of our Team member Mark Scott, as thanks for his comments received by Andy Caple.
Copies of this very worthwhile publication can be obtained from Langdale Ambleside MRT at a cost of £8.00 per copy including postage and packing.
