Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

2nd June 2013

Whilst working on the commissioning of our brand new Incident Control Vehicle late this morning at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ , and with the vehicle barely days old in our service and a total mileage not yet at 100 miles, we discovered the rear nearside tyre was punctured with a nail!

An immediate repair was necessary, but given today is a Sunday, there was the difficulty of locating an open tyre repairers.

We are very pleased to announce that National Tyres of Bury New Road, were not only open, but ‘Andy’ at National Tyres also very kindly agreed without hesitation to repair our punctured tyre there and then without any charge to the team at all.

The team would like to extend its thanks and gratitude to Andy at National Tyres, Bolton, for his kindness today and his support of Bolton MRT.
