Unrelated to incident 79/2013, at 02:08 this morning, during the concluding parts of incident 79/2013, two male youths presented themselves to a Police Officer and our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE at the A666 Incident Road head RVP. They required assistance as one of the two had a diabetic condition.
The two males had been wild camping in the area (As had seemingly a lot of others, with talk of a ‘rave’ having taken place in the nearby plantations) when the 23 year old male from Edgworth had begun to feel unwell.
He was assessed by Team Doctor Richard Moss (one of two doctors in the team) and it was decided the best course of action was for his friend to take him home in his nearby vehicle.
