Team operational and trainee Search Dogs attend Family Fun Day at Tottington High School this afternoon

This afternoon, between 13.00hrs and 15.00hrs, at the kind invitation of Tottington High School, one of our operational and one of our trainee Mountain Rescue Search Dogs with their handlers visited the schools Fun Day.

Attending was Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog Handler Steve Nelson with his Mountain Rescue Trailing Search Dog Boris (Steve is also a member of SARDA Wales) and ‘their’ usual navigator Elaine Gilliland of the team, and Trainee Mountain Rescue Air Scenting Dog Handler Paul Chisholm and his Trainee Air Scenting Search Dog Bella, alongside some of their family.

Much interest as usual was generated in our specialist search dogs at the Fun Day, which also saw GMFRS and GMP in attendance alongside the usual attractions of the Fun Day.
