Bank holidays may mean time off for many, but for our crew it can mean even more call outs. On Sunday alone, we attended 11 missions! Here's one of the many we attended, in @TheBoltonNews, all thanks to your support. A huge thank you to @BoltonMRT too! bit.ly/2GwNjqm
Call out. Details to follow. pic.twitter.com/LZnaYvGdYV
Huge thank you to everyone who donated or entered our competition today. We raised just over £540, which is just amazing! All mountain rescue teams are run by volunteers and all the money to keep our teams running has to be raised. We truly appreciate you supporting us. Thanks
Wow there’s so many of you up at Rivington Pike! This is the place to be!!! We’ll be here up until four so pop up and see us. pic.twitter.com/Ihfh9ffx9G

Team welcomes an evening visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by 25th Bolton (Lostock) Beavers
This evening, commencing at 18.45hrs we hosted a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by Leaders Jo and Amber Taylor and the young members of 25th Bolton (Lostock) Beavers.
The seventeen Beavers present were met by full Call Out List team members Paul Copley, our Equipment Officer – Base and Catering, and Gill Leigh, plus Trainee Team members Heath Doran, Gary Melia and Neil Haigh.
The very enthusiastic children were spilt into two groups and shown how to use our SAR Alpine Lite mountain rescue stretcher, followed by a demonstration of our vacuum splints, all finishing with a look round the two Land Rover Defender Mountain Rescue Ambulances we garage at our Base / HQ.
The five Bolton Mountain Rescue Team members present tonight would like to thank the 25th Bolton (Lostock) Beavers and their leaders for making this evening visit so enjoyable, particularly with regards to their willingness to join in and the vast amount of questions put to Paul, Gill, Heath, Gary and Neil by our obviously very interested visitors.
