Very kind donation from 25th Bolton (Lostock) Cub Scouts
On Tuesday 25th November 2014 the team hosted a visit to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ by the 25th Bolton South (Lostock) Cub Scout Pack, for a lecture and kit demonstration on the workings of the team, hillwalking safety, and volunteers who work in the community.
Fifteen Cub Scouts, a Cub Scout Leader and a willing parent were present, being met by team members at the time ; Equipment officer – IT and Communications Steve Fletcher, Naomi Horan, Equipment Officer – Base and Catering Paul Copley, Matthew Hailwood, Call Out Contact Mike Marsh and probationary member Heath Doran.
Today at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ we were visited by Tracey Nicholls, the Cub Scout Leader of 25th Bolton (Lostock) Cub Scouts, who very kindly handed over a wonderful donation of £50.00 from 25th Bolton (Lostock) Cub Scouts, as thanks following their visit.
The entire team membership extends its gratitude to all at 25th Bolton (Lostock) Cub Scouts for their kind support of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
