Already we have had a number of enquiries, four of which have already completed our on line initial application form and will soon be receiving further information via email.

These four are;

  • Husband and wife, 46 years old Project Manager and 38 years old Trauma Nurse, from Westhoughton.
  • A 36 year old male Recruitment Manager from Whitefield.

We have also had three previous recent membership enquiries, from a male NWAS Paramedic, a former male GMP Officer who is also a member of our Support Group, and a male HGV Tanker driver, the latter two having already attended some team Wednesday evening training exercises to gain an understanding of the team, and have also undertaken a hillcraft and moorland navigation assessment afternoon with the team.

Two women applicants, who have yet to submit their on line initial application forms are scheduled to undertake their hillcraft and moorland navigation assessment afternoon with the team on Saturday 19th December 2015.

All interested parties are invited to submit their on line initial application form soonest.

Interested applicants are advised to gain an insight in to the day to day affairs of the team by viewing our daily website ‘News’ features, which will give an idea of the commitment and dedication required to be an operational team member.
