Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

1st January 2016

Today our DVSD Specialist Search Dog Handler Dave Marsh, with his DVSD Search Dog Sasha, has been involved in arrangements to join a search scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 2nd January 2016, in the Coventry area for a missing person.

Dave is intending to journey to the search area, early tomorrow morning, in the company of fellow DVSD Dog Handler Mike Dermody (British Transport Police) and his DVSD Search Dog Quincy.

Both Dave and Mike are also members of SARDA Ireland North.

Travelling with Dave and Mike, will be Bolton MRT team member Dave Cook (our Equipment Officer – Water) and a member of Oldham MRT – who is interested in the working of DVSD operations.

They will all be joining up with West Mercia Search and Rescue Team (WMSART) – who will provide a Boat for the dog Handlers to work from, and Police.

More details will appear on our website when known.
