Fantastic Support From Ye Jolly Crofters, Horwich, with their Christmas Raffle
Today our Team Secretary, Gillian Gregory, called into Ye Jolly Crofters pub on Chorley Old Road, Horwich, to be presented with the proceeds of a Christmas raffle organised by our great friends and team supporters, licencees Sharon and Alan Jones. They had put together a beautifully decorated drinks hamper of wines and beers and sold raffle tickets, in support of Bolton Mountain Rescue team, to their generous customers.
The raffle raised a wonderful £95.33 – and not only that, but the winner of the hamper promptly and kindly also donated it to Bolton Mountain Rescue Team members. So many thanks to Sharon and Alan, their supportive customers, and the generous raffle winner for his/her selfless gesture. This latest fundraising activity follows an Easter raffle held in April 2015 which raised over £200 for Bolton Mountain Rescue Team, as well as the provision of a wonderful hot supper for team members to enjoy on their Christmas social visit to Ye Jolly Crofters in December, and a promise from Sharon and Alan to continue to support us – what great friends of the Team!
Please see also website “News” reports dated: 1st April, 7th April, 26th November, 16th December, 2015.
