This evening thirty operational team members gathered at our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ for the second weekly Wednesday training exercise of this New Year.
Our Team Training Officer Alistair Greenough has provided the following account of this evening;
“Team training tonight took place at our LBH base.
The Team members present were split into 2 groups.
It consisted of team member Chris Tennant familiarising other team members with the use of our inflatable Airshelta units which are used to provide a sheltered area for team members when on prolonged callouts and exercises.
The other half of the group were put through their paces by Equipment Officer – Ropes and Stretchers Nigel Booth on some rope work refresher training.
A small number of team members then retired to Ye Jolly Crofters on Chorley Old Road, Horwich.”
