Team weekly Training evening takes place at Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ
This evening, commencing at 19.30hrs our Probationers were introduced to all our mountain rescue stretcher types, and how to handle a mountain rescue stretcher, with mini practical exercises complimenting the theory session, provided by team member Michael Wakerley.
For the operational membership, who turned up at our Base / HQ for their training start at 20.00hrs, our Training Officer Alistair Greenough, laid on a series of mini casualty handling / extrication exercises, involving the use of much of our splintage equipment.
In total this evening, thirty operational members attended for the training alongside ten of our thirteen current Probationary members.
All training was concluded at 22.00hrs with some retiring to Ye Jolly Crofters on Chorley Old Road, Horwich, for a post exercise drink.
