Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

5th May 2016

This evening saw Darwen Moor once again in flames, this time in the shadow of Jubilee Tower.

The team were not required to assist Lancashire Fire and Rescue service, unlike a fortnight ago (see incidents 43/2016 and 44/2016), however it is a timely reminder that the moors are particularly dry at the moment, anyone using the moors please take care when discarding anything which could cause an ignition of the dry tinder.
