Tonight we were pleased to welcome to our Ladybridge Hall Base / HQ 17th Bolton, Markland Hill Scout Group.

The group of eight Scouts and three leaders were met by experienced Team members Matthew Hailwood, John Dickinson and Naomi Horan.

Their evening began with a short talk given by Matthew and Naomi followed by a film showing the types of work carried out by Mountain Rescue.

Following this the Scouts were shown around the contents of the two Land Rover Mountain Rescue Ambulances garaged at our Base / HQ.

The Scouts were an absolute credit to their leaders, listening carefully and showing an interest in the information they were given throughout the evening, and of course throwing the odd challenging question in to Matthew, Naomi and John.

We hope they now know a little more about the work of Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.
