We are very pleased today to announce the receipt of a kind personal £20.00 donation from Mr David Wrenall of Sharples, Bolton.

Mr Wrenall is the Speakers Secretary for Worsley Probus Club, to whom we gave a lecture presentation on the work of the team to on 2nd December 2010. (See website ’news’ entry dated the same)

In his letter accompanying his kind donation, David states;

“As Speakers Secretary of Worsley Probus, I, with all the members present on 2nd December, was extremely impressed with the presentation by Garry, Chris and Nick. I am pleased we were able to collect a further £85.00 in addition to our ’standard’ speakers fee of £30.00.”

“However, as someone who has roamed the West Pennine Moors for over 45 years I was well aware of the difficulties which can overtake walkers very quickly and the need for prompt responses.”

“I therefore enclose a cheque donation for £20.00 and hope to include Bolton MRT on my list of charitable donations in the future.”
