Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

14th February 2010

Following Incident 44, and whilst still at Lower House Car Park (carrying out a ’hot debrief’ on our provision of standby rescue cover for Winter Hill Fell Race) the team was approached by a Mountain Biker reporting a collapsed dog with its owners, on Roynton Lane within the Terraced Gardens at Rivington.

Upon investigation team member Mike Marsh discovered an elderly dog that still thought it was a puppy, and a ride back down the track for the dog and its owners was arranged in our BM4 Land Rover MR Ambulance which quickly resolved matters.
