Since opening our on line initial membership form for potential new Trainee Team Members on Sunday March 29th 2009, we’ve had to date 6x positive expressions of interest.

All 6 on-line applicants have been sent by return email details of our two session long recruitment process on Thursday evening April 23rd 2009 and all day Sunday April 26th 2009. Both sessions must be attended in order to be considered for team membership.

We are currently awaiting confirmation now from these six initial applicants that they are able to attend the Thursday evening and all day Sunday sessions.

On Wednesday April 1st, the Bolton News daily newspaper kindly carried an article on our latest recruitment drive, specifically highlighting the team’s desire to recruit more women into its ranks. Out of 38 current Call Out list members, 7 are women.

Generally any recruitment drive by the team results in an average of 20 enquiries to join from men against each enquiry from women, so women are certainly under represented at this stage.

We certainly expect more membership enquiries over the next three weeks, and will consider all applicants who meet our initial selection criteria.
