Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

26th October 2008

Today two of our Full Team Callout members Fred Taylor (and partner Julie) and Ged Clarke attended an off road training day, organised by Hummer Extreme in conjunction with Bauer-Millet of Manchester.

During the day Fred and Ged completed a 1 hour off road course on green lanes and farm tracks taking in steep descents and rises, making full use of the Hummer Extremes own Hummer vehicles off road capabilities.

The course organisers also offered additional off-road training and experience using the H3 to more members of the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team. This will equip more members in our team with the skills to navigate some of the tracks within the teams area.

Needless to say the ’Mountain Rescue Hummer’ got muddy!
