This evening our BM1 Landrover Mountain Rescue Ambulance vehicle and the ’Mountain Rescue Hummer’, (or BM5 as we refer to it within the team) along with Team Chairman Ken Oakes and fellow team call out list members Peter Heeley, Sue Purtill and John Parish, all attended Rivington Hall Barn at the invitation of Bolton and District Round Table.

Their Chairman Craig Knights had previously announced the team as beneficiaries of the fundraising work of the Bolton and District Round Table as the Chairmans nominated charity.
It was in this capacity that the team members and vehicles attended this evenings annual charity boxing night function at the Rivington Hall Barn, to show the Round Tablers and their many guests just a ’taste’ of what they are all very kindly supporting.

The team is very grateful to the support offered by Bolton and District Round Table, and wishes them well in their continuing charity fundraising excellent efforts.
