Further to the news article of Tuesday 29th July 2008, this evening at our Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ, our Team Leader Garry Rhodes and Team Member Elaine Gilliland met again with Carl Foster from RBS Horwich (Parklands), who is part of the Royal Bank of Scotland “Strategy and Design Team” based at Horwich.

Carl had previously visited the team on the 29th July to discuss possibilities of help from the Strategy and Design Team, to us, as part of their “Work in the Community Scheme”.

As team member Elaine Gilliland has been closely involved and has coordinated our recent Ladybridge Hall Base/HQ redecorating/refurbishment project, it was felt that Carl and his team could assist Elaine with remaining outstanding items regarding redecorating and refurbishing our base.

A large number of outstanding tasks have been identified for Carl’s team to do on an intensive makeover day to be arranged the week commencing 15th September 2008. The works include floor painting of our garage, external painting of our doors and doorframes, and window frames. Also due to the purchase of a new catering trailer the storage shelter will be cleared of debris and all wooden areas stained and damp proofed.
