Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

24th August 2008

Today the team attended the Mark Fellowship Family Fun Day in Middleton with two of our Landrover ambulances and six team call-out personnel. The weather and space allowed the team to display some of our equipment, and demonstrations of the GPS enabled radios recently purchased with funds donated from members of the East Lancashire Mark Freemasons. (See full previous article from 6th February 2008).

The event was well attended with many people visiting the team display and the team fielding enquiries about the work of the team. During the afternoon we gratefully received donations totalling £12.70 from visitors to our display.

The team was also surprised to be a recipient of the day’s charity awards from the East Lancashire Mark Benevolent Fund, with a donation of £500.

As ever the team is very grateful for the support received from the East Lancashire Mark Benevolent Fund and to all who contribute to their fundraising.
