Jolly Crofters Fundraising Team

16th June 2006

Today the team received a substantial £300 donation and a very kind letter of thanks from Chief Inspector (Operations) Shenton of GMP Trafford Division (M), in relation to the team’s involvement in the search for the Reverend Michael Robinson, on the 10th and 11th of May this year.

The donation was in part set against some equipment items utilised in the search, which the team had to replace, but in large was a donation that recognised the voluntary nature of our team, and as a token of appreciation from GMP Trafford Division.

The excellent working relationship we have with many officers in GMP contributes very greatly to the overall success of the many search operations we jointly engage in with GMP, and we thank GMP for the many and varied ways in which its officers and the force as a whole supports the team.
