Starting very early this morning, ten team members in two team Landrover Ambulances provided standby safety cover for the Bolton Blast biathlon event, which commenced with a swimming event at Turton high School (which we did not cover) moving on to the running event which we did cover.

Organised by the Bolton Metro Triathlon Club, the event attracted 21 competitors and included a running course around Wayoh Reservoir.
After the event, which passed smoothly & without incident, the team were extremely pleased to receive a very generous £100.00 donation from the event organisers.
