The Team Treasurer received a £20 donation from Valerie Shelford, who was very surprised to see a Mountain Rescue Team in Bolton, after moving up here from Essex (in Valerie’s own words very flat Essex) three years ago. But, three years later, after the recent bad weather and having travelled around the area, she can now see the need for such a service.
