GMAS contacted the team at 22:37 to assist with a GMAS Atherton based crew already on scene, at an incident in Horwich. A 15 year old male youth had stumbled whilst crossing a wet and muddy playing field in the dark, sustaining a possible fractured ankle. The GMAS crew required the team to assist with a stretcher carry across the field to the waiting ambulance. Our first members were very quickly on scene and along with the ambulance crew effected a quick stretcher carry. By 23:30 we were all back home, with some members lamenting on their Sunday evening pints that had been abandoned in various hostelries!
