Immediately at the conclusion of this, a nearby women requested our help to find her missing husband, a dementia sufferer, the pair had become seperated in the Belmont area. LANCON were informed and a full team call out was instigated at 17:34, with search parties from those still on scene from the previous incident being rapidly deployed to search some of the moorland paths and fringes around Belmont (at this stage the 65 year old man had been missing for 2 hours). By chance some people in Belmont stopped one of our team members to report a man collapsed in a nearby wooded ravine. Fortunately the person had not collapsed (he was resting?) and turned out to be our missing man.
He was reunited with his wife by 18:03, a very happy conclusion.
