Further to our involvement in Incident 93 which commenced late on the evening of Saturday 7th September 2013, we are pleased today to announce the receipt of a very kind £200.00 donation from GMP.

In a letter to our Team Leader Garry Rhodes MBE accompanying this donation, Chief Superintendent David Hull, Divisional Commander for GMP Bolton Division stated;

I would like to pass on my sincere thanks and appreciation to the three rescue teams who responded immediately to the missing male last weekend.”

“Fortunately he was returned home safe and well.”

“Please find enclosed a £200.00 donation for the Bolton Mountain Rescue Team from Greater Manchester Police Bolton Division.”
