We have received, via our online giving portal, a kind donation of £30 (amounting to £37.50 when gift aid is claimed) from Mr Frank McDonna of Lynwood Associates, Chorley.

Many thanks to him for his festive donation which is much appreciated by all of us.

In January 2009, Mrs Roma Clough suffered a serious leg injury from a fall whilst out walking in the Bolton area.  She has continued to remember the assistance Bolton Mountain Rescue Team gave her, sending us a festive donation each Christmas.  We have received a cheque for £25 and a Christmas card which states “Best Wishes to the team from one who’ll never forget you all.”  We, in turn, wish Roma and her family All the Best for 2018 and thank her for her kind support.

We have received a Christmas card and donation of £25 from Deborah & John Garlick of Warrington.

Way back in January 1996, Deborah sustained spinal injuries in a sledging accident in a snowy Rivington and Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was called to assist.  Following a full recovery from that accident, Deborah and her husband, John, have been stalwart supporters of our work and carried out fundraising activities to support us.  Many thanks and Best Wishes to them for the New Year.

Back in May 2012, Bolton Mountain Rescue Team was called to an incident involving a boy who had sustained a fractured ankle in an accident in a field at Mosley Common.  Ever since that incident, the boy’s grandmother, Mrs Diane Naylor, has been remembering the assistance we gave by sending a festive donation to us.

Earlier this December, we were very grateful to receive a donation of £100 with the accompanying comment “Merry Christmas to you all! Just to say thank you once again for “Rico’s rescue” in Mosley Common.” We would like to express our sincere thanks to Diane and Rico and wish them and their family Best Wishes for the New Year.

In our Christmas mail we received two kind and thoughtful donations from two households who experienced devastating flooding on Boxing Day 2015 and remember the assistance given that day by Bolton Mountain Rescue Team.  So thank you to Sue & Dennis Delve and Sheila & Carl Bagnall, all of Riverside Drive, Stoneclough, for your festive donations towards our work.
