Incident 66/2017 – RTC De Havilland Way
At the conclusion of the peer review weekend all vehicles were travelling back to their respective bases when Team Leader Alistair Greenough received a phone call from the peer review team reporting they had come across an RTC involving two vehicles on De Havilland Way, and were requesting our assistance with the casualties.
Alistair, an A&E nurse, and Sam McKay, a staff nurse, assessed the casualties and helped to stabilise until an NWAS RRV arrived. We remained on scene until two ambulances arrived to transport the injured parties to hospital.
